What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb, preferred contact method, the service you are interested in, your message, and any photos you attach (up to five).
We also record the IP address of the device used to submit the form. This is used to limit abuse.
How we use it
To reply to you, prepare a quote, and arrange work. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Your enquiry and any photos are stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in Melbourne, Australia, and are automatically deleted 60 days after you send them.
Your enquiry is also emailed to us and will remain in our email system unless you ask us to remove it.
Our website is served through a global content delivery network, so requests to the site may be handled outside Australia.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, and how people arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and sends information, including your IP address, to Google, which may store and process it outside Australia.
You can opt out by installing Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@jbrplumbing.com.au and we will action it.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
